I really dislike grasses but having watched him planting up that pot for Mother’s Day I realised we have very different tastes! I hated it. That said I enjoyed the programme and I do like Monty!

    S. tenuissima is lovely until it goes strawy and bends over under it's own weight.

Although I do want to reassure Monty that euphorbias and cowslips etc., DO grow together in the wild, at least they do here! My local woodland is awash with euphorbias, cowslips, hellebores (viridis and foetida), buttercup anenomes... so his green and yellow theme, although a bit dull perhaps, was entirely appropiate to me.

It wasn’t the colour combination I just thought it was messy. Nice pot though

He does have some lovely big pots but I don't like euphorbia or any acid greens and yellows.    He does "messy" quite a lot really.

I don't like Euphorbia either and certainly wouldn't give it as a gift without a warning about the irritant sap (that many plants in a pot together are going to have to be separated out before too long). "Messy" I don't have a problem with (fortunately :D)
