Sheep work well to, a couple that use to live near us use to borrow a couple of sheep from the local farmer each year I don't think they ever mowed the lawn.

That's what the previous owner did here after her husband abandoned her and the kids and there was no-one to mow.  I don't think 2 were enough tho.

I've always fancied keeping wallabies but apparently you need very high fences. :#
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Why bother Michele, I know that the people of USA do things differently to us, climate is different, also seen some dreadful YouTube videos where they pour vinegar on the ground to kill weeds and worms, etc, I’d rather stick with a UK site.

Thanks Michele, but you'd be better off trying USA gardening forums. Good luck  :)

You think so?  Shall I pour vinegar on my garden, shall I cover it in salt to kill slugs, what a silly statement Michele, you’re doing yourself no favours here.
I don’t need luck I know how to grow things that suit my garden, weather conditions and soil, why do I need luck, gardening is a skill, not a chance of luck.

Just looked at the blog (for that is what it is) and this is the intro...

“At A Green Hand, we provide a one stop shop for all your organic living, organic gardening and beauty queries. We understand the effort you put into leading a healthy lifestyle and taking care of your body and mind, and our goal is to make everything easy for you by providing information that answers all those questions racing through your mind. Also, we offer a platform for gardening...”

I have no beauty queries. Never had. Never will have.

I put no effort into leading a healthy lifestyle. Too late for that. Ditto taking care of my body and mind - both shot to pieces years ago.

No questions race through my mind, ever. The synapses couldn’t take the strain.

And the afterthought “platform for gardening”...

    No thanks, michele.

Maybe Michele doesn’t think us ‘Brits’. Can ever thing of a healthy lifestyle, in mind or body,  there’s  a lot of very huge bodies in the US!
