Mysterious plant

Can anyone please enlighten me as to what this plant is? It is growing in the middle of a daffodil patch next to a pond. A few months ago there was also builders using that part as a walk way.

    Native spurge - a form of euphorbia.  Weed for me.  Beware of getting the sap on your skin in sunlight as it can cause burns and if you get it in your eye it can be very painful.
