Looking for a fungus ID

Hi I'm just wondering whether to leave this fungus in my flower bed or try to remove it.

If it was me, I'd leave them - fascinating things! :)  They will disappear completely in a few days.  Most of the fungus is below ground and is probably growing from some already dead roots or similar.  It's not the type which will infect living plants and is actually helping your soil by breaking down woody matter into a form your plants can use. :)

Thank you very much Bob! I left it last year so i was hoping that had been the correct thing to do.

I think they may be one of the ink caps, possibly common ink cap, or glistening inkcap which grow on bark chippings on soil, dead tree roots and the like.
