Lawn full of weeds

Hi
Hoping for some advice.
First cut of the year done today and the lawn is worse than ever!
It's full of what I think is celandine, not to mention bumpy, mossy and muddy near the pond.
I'm considering taking the who thing up, including the path on the right hand side and starting ahaag from seed.
Any tips or advice?
I'm worried this is the wrong time of year or that the weeds will just reappear.
