Is this poison hemlock?

  Looks like “Alexander’s” to me ...Smyrnium olusatrum ... introduced to Britain by the Romans (hence its name) who grew it as a vegetable.

  I agree with Dove. Hemlock has fine cut leaves and white flowers.

  Thanks Dove an nutcutlet. I assume I should treat as a weed? It's pretty quick growing and seems invasive.

  Unless you want a ‘wild’ type garden I’d pull it up before it seeds (although the flowers are good for pollinating insects so you could leave it a week or do then pull it up). 
  
  Learn to recognise the leaves as there’ll be lots of seeds in the soil that didnt germinate this year so may do so next year, and for a few more years to come. If you learn to spot them when they’re tiddlers they’ll be easy to hoe or handweed out.
