    Bumping this up for number 8 id. I have been staring and staring at it, but it just won't come to me.

    8.  maybe one of the tall veronicas or veronicastrums.
    Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

    9. What tree? it doesn't bear fruit (at least it didn't last year)
