One of my favourite flowers in my garden is my lesser calamint, Calamintha nepeta. Lots of little white flowers all summer, a nice fragrance and it's absolutely loved by bees.  Note it does seem to come in both white and blue versions.

If you've got room Winter Honeysuckle is georgeous and has a lovely perfume.  Mine flowered from November to March and the bees loved it.  Although its a shrub, I'm training mine against the fence.

I have night scented phlox, lillies and philadelphus, my polianthus tuberose the pearl and moonflowers which are white scented morning glories that flower in the evening. Everything goes in pots here on the patio. Will look at stocks too and I have just ordered lily of the valley and scented begonias. I have some gorgeous solar lights and looking forward to warm summer evenings on the patio. Some excellent suggestions thanks so much.

Nemesia, a lovely vanilla scent. There is a white variety, 'White Perfume' I think. It is usually grown as an annual but it is a tender perennial and it could over winter for you if the patio is sheltered.
