I Bought this grass last year and never planted it. I fear it may be dead already? Is it one that you cut right back or one that you just run your hands through? Is it a sun or shade lover - wet or dry? Many thanks

well, it's not looking great . Have a rummage into the middle and see if there's any sign of new growth.
I fear it may be a gonner.

a lot of the Pennisetums are not reliably hardy.

I'd just hang on for another week or so before chucking it. Try watering it if you haven't already done so. My much smaller one is only just showing signs of life.

There’s no soil in the pot so I suspect it’s is a deadun.
