Do my balls have blight?

I have two box balls that have been in terracotta pots for a couple of years in a very shady spot between my bamboos. (I'm amazed they're still alive to be honest as I've probably let them get too dry, and there was a bit of a build up of dead boxand bamboo leaves in the top of the pots).
I was going to move them to a better spot but found a few dead bits lower down on the plant. I cut these bits out and took the pictures here.
I have no idea whether this is box blight or just the result of my neglect. Does anyone have any ideas?
