I can visualise him now climbing into the state coach first, shoving in front of the Queen at presentations,.....  Hopefully, if he man handles her the way he did Theresa May, he will quickly be taught the error of his ways - not that he'd understand.

I was reading somewhere today about a woman who reckons her waste for the entire year would only full a litre container. Cloth hankies etc. It occurred to me to wonder what she wiped her bum with and whether her body produced any 'waste'. Smug b*****s like her don't do her cause any favours at all

Bidet toilets are very popular among the American zero waste people. They don't seem to be catching on over here so much. You can get some nifty retro fit systems in the States too.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Zero waste is all a bit of an illusion. There'll be packaging for your stuff somewhere even if you buy it without any. I buy toilet roll in compostable packaging but once I bought a bulk pack which had 5 packs of 9 rolls and they came wrapped in plastic. So even if I buy them individually I know that someone has just removed that plastic before it gets to me.

What gets me is the wash out your containers before recycling thing.
Where does the dirty water end up? Just because your waste goes down the plug hole, it doesn't mean that it's disappeared. Is it better in the water courses than in landfill?

Obviously past needing sanitary protection, when she gets older she’ll have to buy Tena Lady, she’ll have some more wast then.

A lot of ladies are switching to the Diva Cup for sanitary protection now. I've no idea about Tena alternatives though but I'm sure washable options exist.

Why does the BBC website have to show tabloid newspaper headlines? The Star is scaremongering 'invasion of deadly vipers' after someone got bitten by an adder. No one has died from an adder bite in over 40 years. Invasion of thick chavs to the countryside never makes the front page though.
