    I've had some like that, forget the name though...  love all the tulips on this thread.. hope to see a lot more...
    Here's a favourite of mine... Tulip clusiana 'Lady Jane'.. this is perennial and comes back every year... I used to have it en masse but I've dug up so many as I prefer not to have bulbs in the ground too much..

    I find Tulip clusiana very elegant flowers. I have Tulipa clusiana 'Peppermint Stick', just starting to flower today.

    Beautiful !... I've not heard of Peppermint Stick before...aptly named, more pink in those than mine..   here's an older photo of my Lady Jane's when I had them with my roses... they must be the easiest tulip to grow .. I feel they have a soothing effect..

    @Marlorena actually, according to this site, T. clusiana 'Lady Jane' and T. clusiana 'Peppermint Stick' are very similar (as is evident on your and my photos). ;)
