Ideas Please for a shady corner

    @KeenOnGreen I have lots of Ivy in the garden  just planted some variagated ivy in another corner of the garden to lighten up a fence panel.  Like the idea of Hakonechloa though.

    @Hostafan1 I'd just end up with a load of lace doilies the slugs here are as ferocious as Rottweilers.
    If you particularly want a hosta or two, get a couple of metal pots that are tall enough so your chosen hosta's leaves don't hang down to the ground

    Maybe some ferns for texture? It’s a lovely corner and think the table will look great with seasonal pots!

    @Flinster ferns are on the list but not sure which ones. Will have to do some research.

     Heuchera with ferns and white flowered fuchsia. Pot gets about two hours of sun in mid summer.  The painted fern (Athyrium Niconitum) dies back in winter.

    @Joyce21 The pot looks lovely what is the name of the fern at the front, is it evergreen.

    @Yviestevie, it's Athyrium Otophorum variety Okanum. It's been evergreen except in a harsh winter.
