Damaged seed leaves will they recover?

GrajeanGrajean Posts: 447
My Cosmos Seashells have damaged cotyledon leaves due to the gas heater in the greenhouse not working probably and lots of fumes. Will these recover or do I sow some more. The centres of some of them are growing.

The seed leaves are there just to give the seedlings something to live on until they can get a root going.
If you can see true leaves appearing they'll probably be ok.
Give em a few days and see how they come on.
I'll not sow cosmos for at least a month

Thank you will give them more time. Just sent for more seeds so a late sowing may do better. Now replaced gas heater with electric.
