Clematis advice

I'd like to grow a clematis on the water butt side of this trellis - north facing and relatively shady but sheltered, although patio side would get sun as the day progresses. Is there a particular clematis that you know of that would happily thrive here? One which is manageable sizewise on the trellis. Rather like 'Pistachio' but not sure it would be right for this spot. Thanks for your help 😊

I didn't even think it would have survived

I had to move the clematis when I had the drive done, sadly it didn't survive, but I'd get another without hesitation. I've got several other varieties, but Hagley Hybrid flowered for longer than any of the others.
Whichever clematis you go for, plant it a good 3-4" lower than it was in the pot.

It is a group 2 but can be grown as a group 3 as long as you plant it deeply to start with and feed and water it to get it established. Then prune it back every spring, feed it and watch it grow.
Thank you both for your advice. Will have a proper look at your suggestions later. Deciding what to plant is often the hardest part!!
