  Looks great. We’ve nearly finished ours now, just a couple more meals left ... so tasty ...better than any you can buy 😋

  Looks great. When did you plant them out last year? I’m planning to grow some for next spring.

  Thanks for the praise
  They were planted in July but needed lots of watering because of the drought. As they are a follow on crop I needed to wait for the prior crop to have finished. I grow them on in larger and larger pots prior to planting out. An Auguest planting results in the plants not seeming to grow fast enough to get properly established.

  Thanks. I’m planning to put them in once my tomatoes have finished, so might not have them in the ground till September. I can sow in July, but might need some big pots by September. Do you think that’s too late?
  
  I grew some a couple of years ago, planted them out in May/June. The plants were massive but only got a week or 2 of broccoli the following spring.

  I’m planning some this year too! I’m also trying Kailan (Chinese broccoli) as it’s a quick cropper and somewhere between broccoli and asparagus in taste apparently.
  
  Womble I’d have thought you could always plant them between your toms a few weeks before they are finished as they will only be small?
