Urgent help!

My kitten has just eaten my cutting of plant from work and we don’t know what it is need help identifying in case it’s poisonous 😳😬 it’s an indoor plant kind of a woody creeper

    Are the leaves slightly succulent? It looks like it might be a peperomia of some kind which would be non-toxic. Has it ever had any tiny flower spikes like mini rat tails?

    Without a 100% ID you're probably best to be cautious though.
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

    Hello Sarah, l am bumping this thread up for you. It may be some kind of crassula, but l honestly don't know.
    Is your kitten showing any signs of distress?  If you are really worried it may be worth taking him/her to the vet with a bit of the plant.
    We have a lot of cat owners on here who may be able to help.

    Never had flowers or the ‘rat tails’, leaves don’t seem succulent like I thought maybe peperomia too or dischidia

    Thanks @AnniD it’s been about 2hrs he has eaten dinner normally no sickness but now bit sleepy ive been speaking to Vet friend and called poison center here like she suggested but apparently they don’t identify plants 🤦🏼‍♀️

    If he's eaten dinner and not been sick, he's probably okay, but l wouldn't want to take the responsibility and say for definite. Did your vet friend give any advice apart from  calling the poison centre ?
    Whereabouts are you, if you don't mind me asking?

    I’ve just had a reply from plant store it came from (in NZ and it’s 10 pm here) they are saying it’s a ‘ lipstick plant’ I’ve googled and leaves look a bit bigger than ours and it’s also never flowered

    She asked if vomiting or drooling and said generally it is very rare to see plant toxicity (she never has so far) lucky me to have a kitten who has decided to know on everything in sight! I literally brought the cutting home tonight in pot 1/2hr later went to get it off silk and first all on floor and only 2 of 3 cuttings in the pot! (He defo are as no where to be seen and potting mix in his gum 🤦🏼‍♀️

    I thought  you must be outside the UK when you referred to him eating dinner  :). If she isn't too concerned and he seems happy enough , hopefully things are okay.  I would just keep a very close eye on him for the next 24 hours or so, and make sure he "goes to the toilet" as usual. Oh, and keep the plant well away from him  ;) Good luck.

    I've done some googling and it looks like your plant is some kind of Lipstick plant or Aeschynanthus Radicans  - there are several varieties some with bigger leaves and some with smaller curly leaves
    There's some info here which says it is not toxic

    Some leaves of lipstick plant here may help identify it
