    Just another thought @Pam285, as I read back on your thread a bit further. We had a huge drain access in the garden of a previous house, and I considered making a simple raised bed on castors for herbs etc. Easy to move out the way if needed.
    Perhaps that would be an option for you  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    try splitting it into different room , making more interest as you go through
