Ok to use this recycled material?

I tried out one of these online food menu delivery schemes and they sent the meat in packaging and cool packs. The packaging resembles a thick and airy felt and says it's made of 85% recycled plastics....any reason why I couldn't use it as a hanging basket lining?

    Good idea, may only last a couple of years but a nice recycle.

    Thanks Lyn...it resembled a liner id bought before so j think thats why it occured to me.
