Deadheading hellebores?

Lizzie27Lizzie27 Posts: 12,494
Mine are going over and I don't want/need any more self seeding so I was contemplating deadheading them soon. Does anybody else do this?  Are there any problems?

I deadhead mine, if I get round to it. The nigers, in particular, look a bit scruffy and go a horrible dirty pink. It allows anything else nearby to take over without the hellebores detracting from them  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Thanks everyone, I'll put deadheading on the list!
