    People were reporting masses of ladybirds after last year's hot summer and apparently the same thing happened after the hot summer of '76. Let's hope they have in impact on the aphids.
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

    I noticed greenfly on my roses so there is food for ladybirds.

    Been out in my garden all day today in Birmingham never saw a ladybird

    We didn't see very many last year but this year there seems to be loads around which I find surprising.

    Spotted 2 specimens of "harlequin" ladybirds in the past few days, in different disguise! Both on the new foliage of my rose tree. But very few of the native ladybirds so far.

    Mine all native I think, I’ll keep an eye out for harlequin but none so far.

    Lots of 🐞 ladybirds here in the Black Country. Anyone got a quick and easy way to differentiate between goodies and baddies?
