Hello, We live over the border from Hereford in Wales. I have just dug up 2 old lavender bushes to replant somewhere else. Would they be o.k. in large pots, or better in the ground with compost and a good feed. They look better now I have trimmed them up with new growth coming. Any advice welcome. Thank you.

    You can pot them up. Just make sure they have gritty free draining compost, not the usual multipurpose peat type.
