  • You don't all have to be so negative. Some of our customers advised us of this site and that it was good for feedback.. Some nasty people out there i can see how unsupportive of small business's trying to keep a roof over their families head

Not being nasty, I just think you're wasting your time asking people who aren't in your area and won't be able to help with feedback. Maybe you could try contacting your past customers directly for feedback. If you're wanting to advertise, maybe try leafletting or local parish magazines etc.

People on here from far and wide more local advertising would be a good idea. My husband runs his own business but I would never dream of asking forum members for any sort of input. That’s not what it is for!

You are trying to get buisness.
You need to pay for advertising.
How can you lie there and think of England

Ops pansyface didn't mean it honest :o. Just home from greenhouse hunting to see I'd been naughty. I am sorry I didn't mean to flag you but if you need more flags please ask. Only kidding.

People on here aren't being nasty.  What has been said is perfectly valid.  If you are a small company it's probable that 99% of people here, if not more, will never have heard of you let alone used your services.  The best feedback comes directly from customers, so contacting them is the way forward.
Also, advertising is not permitted on the site and, intentionally or otherwise, that is exactly what you are doing.
I can't speak for others, but it was local small businesses who remodelled my garden and it's a local small business which services my mower and garden tiller.  Don't accuse people you don't know of being unsupportive of small business.
