Been to Chelsea once. Really enjoyed it but prefer Malvern and Hampton Court. I would go to the show gardens as soon as you get there as it's a bit quieter first thing. Good advice about taking plastic bag to sit on as it can be difficult to get a seat. Hope you have a lovely time.
I like Malvern and Tatton too. Didn't like Hampton Court but I went in its first or second year and I expect it's improved. Haven't been to Chatsworth.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Chatsworth is lovely, but then the location is stunning and it is only 5 miles from home. I have always enjoyed Chelsea, but I struggle to stand for long periods and it is hard to find somewhere to sit.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Peasant ? How very dare you ! l will have you know l am at least one step up from there.... Haven't been to Malvern for a couple of years, quite fancy that and/or Tatton. We went to the first Chatsworth where they had terrible weather and quite a few teething problems. Ironically in view of the original post, people in wheelchairs and mobility scooters were really struggling on the site, not only because of the ground conditions but because the site was quite "hilly".
We thought about Chatsworth but decided it was a bit pricey. I like the Harrogate spring and autumn shows. They don't have the big show gardens but are well attended by nurseries and growers, and you can buy plants which for me is the main reason for going. There's plenty of parking including a big disabled parking area near the entrance.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
