Plant identification!

suzie15suzie15 Posts: 23
Hello!

I'm in the process of trying to identify everything that is springing up in the garden of the house we moved into in the autumn, today I noticed some lovely new white flowers on a shrub and wondering what it is, a friend has suggested rhododendron, and from a quick google it looks likely, but as there are over 1000 types (thanks again google) I wondered if anyone had any advice on looking after this one and any variety it could be?

Thanks as always!

Yes - more info needed, Suzie. A rhodie or azalea is most likely, but there are far too mnay varieties for anyone to realistically guess which one.
A pic of the whole shrub, and some close ups of stems/foliage will get an accurate ID  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
