    I'm not sure but I'm assuming it was disease prevention. The woods were full of scientific looking collection jars strapped to poles with funnels stuck in them for months. Almost all the larch plantations in the local area have been removed now.
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
