seed potatoes

They won't chit  6 weeks now in open sunlight but nothing doing

    Were they bought as seed potatoes of were they supermarket potatoes?

    Where have you got them?  If it's too cold they won't produce shoots.   Once they do, make sure they're kept in full light so the shoots don't get leggy before you can plant them.  Remove all but 3 or 4 shoots before panting as this will give better crops.

  • Hi NIce to hear from you  They are in my greenhouse so get full sunshine during the day
    6 weeks now but nothing showing

    Is it an unheated GH and where do you live, we haven't seen any sun for a while, here. 

    It could be too cold for them in the GH, they may fair better on a warm window sill indoors.

    Yes, they won't like the night time cold in an unheated greenhouse so bring them indoors and see if that helps get them going.
