I am Nut ;) ... the most I hunt here are an occasional lily beetle and vine weevils ... oh and I’ve lost my small peeling knife ... we were hunting through the compost heap for that the other day ... no luck tho ☹️

I've lost a small knife as well. I thought it might surface out of the compost heap, but so far only the odd teaspoon.

I dug through my compost heaps looking for some lost secateurs but never found them. They turned up months later around the back of the greenhouse where I'd dropped them.

Cameras are great for hunting though, much better than guns.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I’ve ordered a new peeling knife ... I’m expectingmy old one to materialise out of the ether immediately following delivery 🙄

Quite often a dish will run away with the spoon. If you see a small dog laughing then ask him for directions.

    I blame next door’s cat ... it’s usually on the fiddle ...
