    Ah, custard and muffins to name just two foods that cannot cross borders. I assume you mean the sort that get toasted and not the giant fairy cakes,  hope you sent them back!

    Yes, the very American 'English muffins' you pop in the toaster.  I called and they gave me a free bag the following week.  Obviously not the first time they've come across that issues.  I've taken to writing a note in my order under each bread product 'not expired within 4 days'.. just to get them to check.  Had an issue with bagels a few weeks prior.  Never less, grateful for someone facing risk to shop the isles of our grocery store so I can pull up outside to get them loaded in the back of my car at the arranged time with very little risk to myself.
