PlantID help - ceanothus??

Looks a bit like ceanothus thyrsiflorus var. repens - but these leaves are much thinner
It's mat forming/creeping with stems rising up.

    Lithodora diffusa? The variety that I know is "Heveanly Blue" and has little blue flowers, but I think there's a blue and white one too.
    Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
