Is this as sempervivum? species name?

Neighbours' unknown plant grown outdoors in North London, sheltered and full sun/part sun.

    Looks like an Echeveria.
    Possibly Perle von Nurnberg but hard to tell.
    Not really hardy but you can be lucky if the conditions are right and have a frost free,dryish winter!

    Thanks! How can I tell a sempervivum apart from an echeveria?

    They do look similar but Echeveria are usually noticeably thicker. Both plants have tightly-packed rosettes, but due to the thickness of Echeveria leaves, there are usually less leaves around a rosette than in Sempervivum. Semps are also pretty hardy.Flowers are also different.Semps are monocarpic and the rosette dies after flowering.
