passion flower and orange tree

hi every one could someone give me some advice on a passion flower it has grown over the winter the trouble is it is only one very  long strand i  need to prune it so i have lots of different growing strands coming from it to make it a lot more bushy but i dont know how to do this many thanks for any advice you might give me 
the second problem is a orange tree i have growing in a pot i need to repot it but i cant remember what soil to re-pot it into  many thanks
