Rose pruning.
I'm lead to believe rambling roses flower on the previous years growth. Does this mean, the new shoots which are now beginning to appear along last years stems will bear this years flowers. Thanks.

Prepare the new planting site / hole properly before you dig the rose out. If you can take out a nice big lump of soil round the rootball it probably won't notice the move. If you've had as little rain as we have you will find the soil unseasonably dry. Be sure to puddle in the rose when you transplant it and then water regularly for a couple of months unless we have lots of rain.
