Meyer Lemon Tree help

hello,

I live outside Orlando, FL. I have a potted Meyer Lemon tree that I have had for nine months now. Recently the leaves have started mottling and some have fallen off? Is this seasonal die off, a disease, or nutrient deficiency?

I suspect some leaf fall is normal all year round but yellowing may indicate hunger.

My Meyer lemon is in a much bigger pot than yours and gets a dollop of special feed for citrus plants every spring as the new flowers are forming and every autumn to encourage the lemons to ripen.   This link may help - https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/details?plantid=437
