White Hellebore turned pink!

Hello there.  As you'll see from the header of my post, my white Hellebore, whilst seeming to be flowering well at the moment, has turned from white to pink!  I don't mind; I bought a Hellebore for the early bees and I'm sure they won't care what colour it is! - but I wondered if anyone else has had this before and perhaps the reasoning for it?!  Thank you in advance.  :)

    those things that look like petals are really sepals and longer lasting than petals. They change as they age. The whites go pink or yellowish and the purple ones fade

    Perfectly normal.  My nigers are currently pale pink as they're all finishing :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    We have a white Hellebore with pink flowers, white and pink at the same time, pink being the dominant colour.

    My H. Niger’s have turned green and a bit speckly, they stayed white last year.
    Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.

    Hi @nutcutlet, @Fairygirl, @cornelly and @Nollie....thank you all for your replies.  Just shows you that one thing you can be certain of in the garden...is that you can't be certain of everything in the garden?!  My Hellebores look healthy enough, so that's the main thing.  Wishing you all the best with yours!  Thanks.  :)

    What happened to the petals then??? Are they there in some reduced form? I must look more closely at my hellebores!
