Lemon Tree Indoors, leaf drop

EmmaJHEmmaJH Posts: 11
I am wondering if anyone knows what is going on with my lemon tree. I have it indoor in winter. It 'lives' during this season in a North facing bathroom. Last year I had no problems at all but lately it has been dropping leaves..some had turned brown and curled at the bottom before dropping. I watered and fed it and moved it to a sunnier position which seems to have stemmed the loss for now, but I would like to know what is causing it and if there is anything else I can do.

You have done the right thing by moving it to a sunnier and brighter position. Keep an eye on the temperatures of the rooms. The plants are sensitive to temperatures being too warm and dry. Minimise on the watering too. They don't need too much watering at this time of year. They should recover in time, and leaves will grow back in late spring into summer.
