Cornstalk plant dying
in Plants
Iv had this plant for over 10 years now and i recently changed the soil... I bought the ph moist and sun detector. The soil atm is a little bit too wet but is drying out. Any help on how to bring it back to life his leaves are very low and had loads of dead leaves that we pulled off.

Does it have drainage holes and a saucer underneath?
Is it possible the new soil type you have is different so takes moisture up in a different way from the old stuff.
I know you have a meter there in the soil , but it looks like it may have been over watered too much initially.
I don't know how those meters work but if it is dry near the top and soggy at the bottom do the prongs measure it all or just the top soil?
It might seem intuitive to leave in a sunny window but maybe it is cooking a bit trying to recover.
Hope others will be able to identify it and help you more. Old plants are like family.
Good Luck
