spam reporting

I was amused to find that in reporting multiple spam it was me that got blocked. I had posted 1 times in 240 seconds and must wait for 600 seconds before posting again. The spammer managed more than that :)

    Was the spammer using multiple IDs?

    It's to prevent misuse of the anti-spam feature, I assume, something which could be used by a group of malicious users (or, more likely, 1 person with 5 'sock puppets') to take down genuine posts.  Not something you would really notice unless there's a spammer hard at work and you are one of only a few helping to delete a series of spam posts.
