Yes, marketmore is a good outdoor cuke. I'm trying La Diva this year. The packet blurb says it's succulent and sweet, with great cold tolerance suitable for outdoor growing.
Of the two yellow courgette varieties I've grown Atena was the best, giving a good crop of fruits. I found Gold Rush rather disappointing, a lot of the young fruits failed to swell bigger than a couple of centimetres... but that could have been down to the weather.
I tried Marketmore last year and quite disappointed (probably my fault). I’m going back to Iznik this year as a couple of years ago it was fantastic and went down really well with the kids - small snack type that cropped very well. Also I grew it in a large pot 😄.
