2 questions on lemon, Kaffir lime trees

Hi, I notice that both my lemon and kaffir lime trees are flowering (both are in the house). Should I be fertilizing them with a citrus fertilizer at this point?

On the Kaffir lime, I notice some insets - whiteflies from what I can make out. How do I tackle them (note, I use the leaves in Thai cooking so nothing toxic that I can spray)?

    Yes I feed my lime nearly all year round as it's almost always in flower. The flies I either rub off by hand, spray with water and lemon juice,  or if it gets very bad use water and washing up liquid . Will take a few applications when using mild deterrents but it will work in the end. Hope this helps.
