Does anyone have any idea which blossom tree these buds belong to?

    Hi @2oaktrees. Your thread seems to have slipped through without a response. Hopefully someone will recognise the blossom buds and let you know.

    It's quite difficult to know without seeing the size and shape of the branches. Based on the time of year, it could be something like a Japanese Apricot, Prunus Mume.

    Thanks Bordeline, it’s a small tree I bought from a friend who didn’t know what it was either. Will have to see what sort of flowers it produces.

    Photo of the trunk might help a bit, but not much.
