Wedding flowers

Hi there, this was my wife’s wedding bouquet and was wondering if anyone could identify the different flowers for me as I’m looking to try recreate it for our upcoming anniversary. Thanks

I think Carnations, Fresias, gypsophila, the green is probably Maidenhair Fern.  I don’t  know what the mauve ones are, maybe asters of some kind.
Nice photo, she could audition for Calendar Girls 😉🙂

  • Haha thanks Lyn I can assure you there is a dress behind the flowers!

Take the photo to a florists?
Was it long ago or recent? Would there not be a record or invoices or the florist still around.

Calendar girls :D I am sure she wore a nice gown on the day...but it does give the impression.
I do like the colour of the bouquet, so pretty.
And it was just the right size.

Lovely romantic gesture too by the way :) Good Luck

  • Ye we got married in the Caribbean ten years ago so have no reciept or means of contacting the florist which may make it difficult as the flowers may not be available over here.
  • I think Lyn’s got the IDs pretty accurate ... the white daisy like ones look like leucanthemums (shasta daisy).

A good florist should be able to get most of those for you pretty easily ... what a lovely idea 😊

The lilac ones with the narrow petals and yellow centre look like asters (if you're after something similar and good-natured to grow in the garden, have a look at Aster frikartii varieties, eg https://www.rhs.org.uk/Plants/93410/Aster-x-frikartii-M-246;nch/Details). The greenery could be asparagus fern.
Probably best to take the photo to your florist so that they can choose the same or similar flowers based on what's available here.

I can see spray carnations, dendrobium orchids, gypsophila and chrysanthemums. I suspect the lilac chrysanthemums might be dyed.
I can't see any freesias, but they would be a nice addition to your anniversary bouquet.

Any good florist could easily recreate this as a cut flower bouquet. Agree with others to show the picture.
