Capillary matting

Hi, I wonder if you can advise if this will work. No laughing please, I have a lot of old terry nappies still from when I had twins years ago. If I put one in a tray and used another as a wick would it work.

Thanks for reading and any thoughts.

    Can’t see why not I have used old towels in the past

    Hi deds64, thank you for your reply. I was thinking I'd read somewhere about using towels. I have 48 nappies not much good now days apart from a floor cloth and so I thought of capillary matting. Some are rather thread bear but usable. Thanks again.
