Wish we had some of your rain, @floralies - the frost has been the only moisture we’ve had in months!

Just noticed my Kew Gardens has some buds on too now!

Old Blush and Bengal Crimson are first and last to flower for me.

Not many people have 'Old Blush' these days @Jemula, I do hope you will share photos of your roses this summer...  If no one else does so, I may start a thread on the subject in May..

Lovely photo of 'Blue Moon'... like you I grew this years ago and wasn't happy with it... now I have 'Blue For You' but it's young...  I do like yours very much, against the background of the white flowering shrub... it's a difficult colour to fit in with other roses, if one is fussy about these things, which I'm not too much, but a lot are...

Olivia Rose has been the first rose to flower over the last couple of years.  I've noticed it's one of the first to flower at David Austin roses too.

I have a soft spot for Old Blush @Marlorena although it has the sparse foliage of many China roses and the most awful little thorns that get you every time. I'm glad to have it now but wouldn't plant it in another garden.  I would, however, plant Mutabilis again.
  • My EdH rose is nearly ten years old, it's a climber about 12ft height and spread.

Jemula...yes, love 'Mutabilis'... I miss it, it grew too large for my narrow borders but it was the first to bloom in Spring..  If I could make the room I would get this one back again too...
