Suggestions

Hello Im looking for 4-6 suggestions....I love HARDY geraniums (cranesbill)....perennial, long flowering and preferably evergreen. Favourite colours white, pink and dark purple....would welcome your responses please....Ive looked on line and its all very inspiring but overwhelming. Thanks Mary Anne

    Hi Mary Anne, first thing is, is your garden sunny or shady ? I would suggest looking at this site, but this could be the sort of thing that's overwhelmed you !  :)

    There's a saying... ''when in doubt, plant a Geranium''.... so I would choose whichever takes your fancy, and collect a varied range of them... here are some of my favourites.. they are all exceptionally easy to grow and to propagate.. you just rip pieces off with a bit of root and replant them somewhere...

    Geranium  'Mavis Simpson'  ..it's quite a spreader... May-Oct..


    Geranium 'Patricia'... May-Oct..


    Geranium 'Hillary Rendell'... mid May-mid July.. [very similar to 'Biokovo']


    Geranium macrorrhrizum 'Album' and 'Bevans variety' .. Apr-May


    Geranium sanguineum 'Max Frei'...  on and off all summer..


    Geranium 'Biokovo' white.. 'Vorjura' mauve... May/July


    Geranium 'Patricia' again...



    ..have fun choosing... as you can see, you can go to town with Geraniums...
