Best Autumn Raspberry?

  • Yes you can - see my post above!   :)  I guess we overlapped...
As to how it affects yield, I don't know because I can't make a comparison.  I just like eating my raspberries over a longer period, and don't specially want a lot (though I often seem to get a lot...)
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Excellent!! Thank you! I’m the only one who really eats them so a slight dip in yields is fine away and will avoid a glut! I’m so excited to see this season through, from growing to storing! 😀

I bought 4 autumn varieties last year from ashridge nursery's - Polka - Joan J - Erika and All Gold from Aldi ( yellow variety ). B&M had raspberries in last time I was in.

If I remember correctly I didn't get much fruit from all of them but Erika fruited the least but this year and on they will be better,  Can't remember how well Erika tasted but Polka ( very large fruit ) was very nice and so was Joan J , I didn't like the taste of All gold and it sent suckers up everywhere dug that out and give it away.
