    Why bother - water saving toilets are totally useless. I've had to put a notice for visitors in our main bathroom "This is a water saving eco toilet - you may have to flush it twice!"

    Totally Agree.
    Though apparently some are badly designed, I wonder what percentage as have heard the above over and over.

    I have used a composting toilet while attending a willow weaving class for a day.  Maybe OK if it's all your own but not recommended for sharing.

    Our loos have two buttons to push depending on load to be shifted.  They seem to work OK for us.
