2nd early potatoes

can someone help me, I'd like to grow 2nd early potatoes in sacks, I've got the seed potatoes but not sure when to start chitting them.

    About a month to 6 weeks before you want to plant them, I think.
    Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

    Chitting now in a cool, light, dry frost free place.

    Which varieties are you growing, Tall Trees. I was going to grow mine in bags this year, they are easier to harvest from bags.

    Hi Zoomer44 im using Nicola, I grew in bags last year for the first time, cant remember what type, but had great results. good luck with yours.

    ive started chitting mine today for planting in 6 weeks, so fingers crossed.
