    From what I can gather they are a goody! I can’t figure out which one it is as my plant I’d skills are not up to the job (seems id’ing stoneworts is quite specialist!). Some appear to be quite rare, but as I say I’ve no idea which it is. A nice find! 😀

    Ladybird4 I contacted the freshwater habitats trust and they confirmed that it is a stonewort so we’ll done you! They said it’s impossible to tell without a hand lens but think either Chara virgata or Chara globularis...
