Rosemary Cuttings?

I have a huge mature bed of Rosemary at the front of my house which hasn't been trimmed for 40 years. It's very woody and generally rubbish. I've taken some cuttings to plant elsewhere which are doing well but they are just growing taller from the original single stem. Do I cut to make them eventually bushy?

So long as they're a few " tall, just cut or pinch the top off.
Then they'll send out side shoots and start to bush out

They're probably about 6" tall, so what do you reckon - cut the top half off?

Take them back to about 4 " - that should make them bushy from the bottom upwards.
